The Maccabeats to Perform at the Washington Jewish Music Festival (www.wjmf.org)

The Maccabeats will be performing as part of the 12th Annual Washington Jewish Music Festival, presented by the Washington DC Jewish Community Center’s Morris Cafritz Center for the Arts.

Their hit videos “Candlelight” and the “The Purim Song” have been viewed over five million times on YouTube. The a cappella group has performed on Good Morning America and CBS 2 and has been featured by CNN, The Washington Post, the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and many others. They will perform an eclectic repertoire of Jewish, American and Israeli songs at their DC performance, Thursday, June 16 at the Aaron & Cecile Goldman Theater at 7 p.m. with EntryPointDC ($18, Discounted $15). The festival runs from June 9th through the 26th and tickets for this show are expected to sell out. Information about tickets for this show and others are available at www.wjmf.org.
